Работники русской телефонной службы совершенно бесплатно помогут Вам получить информацию о действующих по Вашему месту жительства программах государственной и общественной помощи, а также о наличии в них русскоязычных работников или переводчиков, ответят на Ваши вопросы по получению медицинской, иммиграционной, юридической, социальной, образовательной помощи для Вас и Ваших детей, помогут связаться с американскими организациями и специалистами, предоставляющими необходимые Вам услуги.

Если Вы живёте в другом городе или штате, Вы всё равно можете воспользоваться услугами нашей информационной службы. Наши специалисты сделают всё возможное, чтобы помочь Вам.

Мы работаем 7 дней в неделю, с 9 утра до 7 вечера по Тихоокеанскому времени.

RUSSIAN PROGRAM OFFERS THE FOLLOWING SERVICES:

* Individuals, couples, youth and family counseling.

* Culturally sensitive advocacy for individuals and families in needs.

* Information and referral line.

* Volunteer-based peer counseling for recent immigrants to reduce trauma and promote successful adaptation.

* Support groups and community education.

* Individual coaching and skills development.

* Professional interpreting and translation to and from Russian, Ukrainian and Uzbek languages.

 OTHER PROJECTS:

* Mapping of the Russian-speaking immigrant population in Northern California.

* Assessing quality of life among former Soviet refugees suffering from Depressive Disorders and PTSD in Sacramento area, and possible treatment options.

* Conducting research to identify the need of local Russian-speaking community in mental health and anti-drug/anti-violence preventive services.

* Creating treatment plans and interventions to meet the immediate and long-term mental health and related needs in order to support Russian-speaking families.
